Tally

A calorie and macronutrient counter that keeps its opinions to itself. You build your own food library, you set your own limit, and Tally does the arithmetic — including the part everyone gets wrong, which is what a pot of stew is worth per serving after it has cooked down. Nothing leaves your device.

What Tally does

⚖️

Any Unit, Exactly

A food records its nutrition against whatever amount is printed on the packet — per 100 g, per ounce, per package, per egg. Everything else is worked out from that, so the same food logs correctly in grams, ounces or pounds and the figures stay exactly proportional.

🥄

It Refuses To Guess

A cup of flour and a cup of honey are not the same weight, so Tally will not convert between weight and volume using a number it made up. It asks you once for that food's density or portion, remembers it, and never asks again.

🍲

Recipes That Account For Cooking

Add your ingredients, then weigh the pot when it's done. A stew that starts as 2,400 g of ingredients and finishes at 1,850 g gets divided by 1,850 — so every serving is right, and you never do the arithmetic yourself.

📌

History Stays Put

Every entry keeps the figures it was logged with. Correcting a food today leaves last month exactly as it was — and if you genuinely want the correction applied backwards, you ask for it and choose how far back it reaches.

🧮

Just The Numbers

No streaks, no badges, no reminders, no nudges, nothing to earn. Going over your limit fills the bar and colours the figure — reported plainly and left alone. Macros are optional; set none and you will never see them.

🔒

Yours & Private

No account, no sync, no analytics, and no food database to phone home to — Tally makes no network requests at all. Your library and your log sit in files on your device, exportable whole or a piece at a time as readable JSON.
